The open house featured over 50 new paintings and photographs as well as her whimsical line of jewelry, accessories, and belts. Teresa Flowers is known for her active involvement on the Utah Art Scene and was the founder of the Women’s art Center in Salt Lake before her affliction with Lyme Disease and a rare form arthritis. Since then she has been struggling with trying to find a treatment that helps, a doctor that knows what is going on with her, and paying the bills for the prescriptions. She has been struggling to find balance with her life and art while going through the stages of the disease and accepting her health condition.
