Conventional or Natural Treatment for Lyme Disease? #86

www.therenegadehealthshow.com – This is a big question for anyone who comes up with a rash the size of Connecticut around a tick bite… When I first saw the rash from the tick bite (I had pulled the deer tick off my leg about 3 days earlier), I knew what it was. Since I had already done research into treatments for Lyme disease in the past, I knew what the likely treatment would be as well. I’m a (very) strong proponent of natural treatments, so I called and emailed a few experts that I know to see what they would recommend for natural Lyme disease treatment. I was not surprised to hear what they said. Go ahead and watch to find out…

Your lucky you got a rash btw (it’s one of the key symptoms that helps ppl and from what I read not all ppl get it so thats no good).

  4. ty99999returns says:

The line is go as natural as I can but if I had lyme I woud just take the antibiotic. It totally depends on what you have imo. If I had a huge income and a lot of money I think in the case I would just take the antibiotic.

I personally wouldn’t take any medicine…I would take lots of garlic on a regular basis…Also hear that the extract of Oregano leaf is really good…

it took 4 yrs to get a correct diagnosis so complications set in w loss of mobility….damn ticks! i am on IV’s since march and more drugs than I ever would imagine since I am into nutrition..also use nutramedix samento i get from the green pharmacy whose price is half of srp..its been hell! I am under the care of a trusted LLMD. regular docs are useless

After the ER doc diagnosed the adverse reactions to doxy as “an allergic reaction to the drug”, I was put on amoxicillin to finish 3 week course of oral abx. Couple months later, took 2X standard dose of cefuroxime (ceftin) for 30 days (per Dr. Burrascano guidelines). Burrascano is w/ILADS. Still symptomatic almost seven years later.

  8. Azorka82 says:

Hard to know. Either ongoing b.burgdorferi or antibiotic induced lupus (aka ‘Post-Lyme Syndrome’). See my profile and LLMD’s not taking poor people.
Chronic Lyme disease symptoms and antibiotic adverse effects are practically identical. Again, for difficult to know.

    give me the cure

    Thanks

Prob Ongoing lyme or lyme toxins from die off still there. you did not nstart antbitxs right away and prob low dose/short duration. No other cndition treated with antibiotics causes lupus. Only lyme ?? hmmm sounds like you still have it I’m afraid. Also lupus is one of those diagnosis that is often actually misdiagnosed and is really………..”LYME DISEASE” sounds like lyme either way. Sorry but your in for a real fight.
Better find a lyme disease Dr. and find an aggessive one and fast.

took4 yrs to get my lyme & rckymtn spot fvr diagnosis. a living nightmare w lost mobility. found out about Samento cats claw by Nutramedix and half the price at The Green Pharmacy online w a wonderful “N.D” who is so helpful. I’m on IV and oral antibiotics.

Google…..”Low Dose Naltrexone Homepage.” And also here on You tube…”Controlling Lyme Disease,” and see the LDN videos by “TropicalDawg” here as well. I have been using LDN, for just over a week now, and feel the need to pass the buzz. This is a drug that helps with the immune system, inflammation and endorphins. Eat as if you had a yeast problem, because Lyme loves what yeast loves. And no sugars of any kind…”Including Fruit!”

  13. Mynajane says:

I would use USANA. It’s in the PDR in the Drs office. Check it out and let me know what you think of that. That’s how I would treat lymes if I had it. You need this five star, gold medal vitamin. Check it out in the comparative guide for nutrition.

Your lucky you live in Canada. In the US, if you get lyme, you die. I got lyme in 2005 and after 30 days of treatment was told I was cured. I even went to a doctor who told me chronic lyme disease doesnt exist. Basically I am dying as I type. Stay in Canada if you want to live. I might have to come up there to get treatment soon. Dont trust US doctors when it comes to Lyme. They are owned by the insurance companies here. Good Luck!

Get one of Hulda Clark’s books

  16. Cherylwuv02 says:

my suggestion to you since you caught your tick bite right away is to take the abx for 6-8 weeks 300-400mg a day. This is a nasty disease when untreated. And if you don’t fully treat you can still end up on the crappy side of the stick if caught in the early stage you will be fine. Hope you get better, completely better.

    Lymed Out

  17. Azorka82 says:

Does doxycycline cause “Post-Lyme Syndrome”? Otherwise stated “antibiotic induced lupus”? Since the 1950′s tetracyclines have been known to excerbate or induce lupus. Still wondering becuase I was treated with doxy immediately–10 days after tick bite–when a red rash (EM) appeared. Yet symptomatic 6 years later. Increasingly debilitated. Ongoing spirochette or abx induced lupus?

  18. jasminangel says:

lyme’s disease is totally treatable by homeopathy, as are all infectious diseases

  19. katmando4sr says:

dude ive been biten buy many ticks probable some had lime disease even, but i have never been tested by the medical field. i have used Mircle minereal and herbs. feel great and never had to sacrifice my flora or quality of life. be extremely afraid of p harm icuticals drug dealers

  20. PatriciaRobinett says:

if i had lyme disease, i would eat garlic like it’s going out of style. garlic can kill nearly everything… even cancer cells… i asked a friend who was an oncologist to test it and he did. the other thing i would eat a lot of is bitter greens. and bitter seeds… lemon and grapefruit seeds. what most people don’t like to eat, most bugs don’t like either. what most people like to eat, so do bugs… i don’t mix sweets in my salads. greens are the key to vegan health. :)

  21. heiwalove says:

for acute lyme, abx is absolutely necessary. for chronic lyme, natural treatments or natural-plus-abx often have the same or better results as abx only.

  22. heiwalove says:

yes, natural treatments produce herx reactions just as pharmaceutical abx do.

  23. jtour521 says:

I have been battling lyme for five months. have been on the antibiotic you are on. if i take echinaca, how much did the doctor prescrive for you?

  24. LymeKerry says:

I think both. Conventional mixed with natural. With any type of chronic illness I believe it is a complete lifestyle change. better health habits, better eating habits etc. Lyme is a rough disease in general. Stress surrounding the controversy makes it that much worse. Stay away from mainstream Drs that may cause more stress. Sleep, lots of sleep helps too. Everything is just plain different after Lyme.

  25. rawfoodkarma says:

wow, that is crazy. I’ve heard a lot of root canals are causing infections! I guess that DID make it worse. Dang.
