red striations that look like stretch marks but aren’t = classic tick-borne Bartonella.
Dr. Schaller has written a book about Bartonella with many pictures of these marks.
swollen lymph node (absent other reasons for swollen lymph nodes) sounds like Bartonella, if you already know you had a tick bite.
yes, axillary lymph nodes (the lymph nodes in your armpits) often get swollen from Bartonella – mine were swollen too.
I used to get throat swollen lymph nodes from colds, but I’ve only had the swollen lymph nodes in the armpit from Bartonella.
Thanks for letting me know this Cronelsbo. It’s good to know it’s not just me. It seems like quite a worrying symptom to me as I’ve been taking carcenogenic arthritis drugs for 20 years now. I wanted to ask my Doc about it this week, but we were all snowed in. But it is slowly getting better, thank goodness. I’m laying off the humira for now though, as long as I can hold out.
And yes, it is quite common to get swollen lymph nodes,
as well as inflammation throughout the body. I have
had skin things and inflammation myself.
Massage is very helpful to clear out the lymph system and
keep things moving. There is also specific lymphatic massage as well.
Get the ultrasound for your piece of mind, but I literally went through the same exact thing a month ago. I always have striations on my ankles, and the rash is Godawful. Sometimes like clumps with postules, last a few days to a week or so. I also always have nodules under the skin all along the underneath of both arms. It is shocking that every day you can wake up with a different symptom. Only those with this can understand fully.
Best of luck to you. xo
Thank you so much for letting me know this jugina! It helps a lot… You do feel so alone with this at times. Perhaps I should ask for an ultrasound. Excellent idea, thank you!
I suffer from Chronic Lyme Disease and Bartonella. I recently had a similar situation where I had terrible lymphedema under my armpit. Stat ultrasound-Bartonella, no cancer or clot.. The rash and the red striations also sound exactly like my Bartonella. Hang in there. You are not alone.
